That\u2019s why for years I dreamed of programming by voice, working by voice and, one day, running my whole company by voice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That dream has come true. Today I run Robust this way, by talking. And what excites me most is that it\u2019s no longer just mine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For decades, working with business management software has meant the same thing: open it, find the right screen, fill in fields and repeat in the next program. The ERP in one place, email in another, customers in a third and documents in a folder nobody can find.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It doesn\u2019t have to be that way anymore. Today there are ordinary local companies (a tax and accounting advisory firm, a manufacturer, a chain of hearing care centers, a law firm) that run a good part of their operations <strong>by talking<\/strong>. By text or by voice, from a single screen. And it isn\u2019t a demo video: it\u2019s their everyday work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">It isn\u2019t dictation: it\u2019s conversation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When we say \u201ctalking,\u201d we don\u2019t mean dictating a message. On your phone, with the Claude app, you have a real voice conversation with your company: you ask, it answers out loud, asks you to clarify when it isn\u2019t sure, and does what you ask in your programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What sets it apart from a generic assistant is that this one <strong>knows your company and works with your data<\/strong>: your customers, your invoices, your calendar, your documents. And it does so with your permissions, not someone else\u2019s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">An ordinary day, in a few sentences<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The easiest way to see it is with examples. They\u2019re all real sentences, just as people say them:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Management and collections<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u201cWhich customers have owed us money for more than 60 days? Send them a reminder.\u201d \u2192 the list appears, a reminder is prepared for each one and it goes out once you confirm.<\/li>\n\n<li>\u201cWhat do I have tomorrow and what do I need to prepare?\u201d \u2192 tomorrow\u2019s calendar, with what\u2019s still missing for each meeting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Sales<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u201cPrepare the quote and send it to the person in charge.\u201d \u2192 the quote is created in your usual program and sent.<\/li>\n\n<li>\u201cMark this quote as accepted.\u201d \u2192 the system shows you what will change and does it once you confirm.<\/li>\n\n<li>\u201cShow me the emails for this deal.\u201d \u2192 they appear next to its record, without digging through your inbox.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Documents<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u201cSave this contract in the client\u2019s folder,\u201d with the PDF attached \u2192 it\u2019s filed identical to the original, with the qualified electronic signature intact.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Customer and patient service<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u201cReply to this WhatsApp with the order status.\u201d<\/li>\n\n<li>\u201cRemind tomorrow\u2019s patients about their appointments.\u201d \u2192 the WhatsApp reminders go out.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">None of these sentences requires knowing where each piece of data is or which program it lives in. That\u2019s exactly the point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">One sentence, seven tasks at once<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Short sentences are fine, but where you really notice the difference is with long instructions, the ones that used to take up half your morning. For example, as you walk out of a meeting:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cTranscribe this morning\u2019s meeting, send the executive summary to the team and the next steps to the client, prepare the quote and send it to them, update the CRM and tell Juan on WhatsApp we\u2019re meeting on Friday to go over it.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With that single instruction:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the meeting is transcribed;<\/li>\n\n<li>an executive summary is prepared for your team;<\/li>\n\n<li>an email with the next steps is drafted for the client;<\/li>\n\n<li>the quote is prepared in your business management program;<\/li>\n\n<li>it is sent to the client;<\/li>\n\n<li>the client\u2019s record is updated in the CRM;<\/li>\n\n<li>the WhatsApp message for Juan is prepared.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seven tasks in five programs at once: the meeting app, email, the business management program, the CRM and WhatsApp. And before anything goes out, you see it and confirm it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What happens under the hood<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For a sentence like that to work, the artificial intelligence has to be connected to the programs your company already uses. We do it with <strong><a href=\"\/en\/how-it-works\/\">smart connectors<\/a><\/strong>: one per program, and each one adds up. When email, accounting, customers and documents come together for the first time, the system sees what no single person can see at once.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And one important point: <strong>we add, we don\u2019t replace.<\/strong> Your ERP is still your ERP and your email is still your email. There\u2019s nothing to migrate and no new program to learn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What it doesn\u2019t do on its own<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Running your company by talking doesn\u2019t mean the AI decides for you. Our AI works with your data and <strong>never decides on its own: it proposes, and a person always makes the final decision.<\/strong> That\u2019s what we call <em>Human in the Loop<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Nothing sensitive without confirmation.<\/strong> Money, contracts, customer data: before anything changes, you see what it\u2019s going to do and approve it.<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>Everyone, with their own permissions.<\/strong> Everyone signs in with their own identity and can only see and do what their permissions allow.<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>Everything is logged:<\/strong> who, what and when.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">And when something arrives without you asking<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Talking is half of it. The other half is <strong><a href=\"\/en\/services\/\">Robust Autopilots<\/a><\/strong>: autopilots that handle the repetitive work on their own, always with a person in charge. Its regulatory department has gone from hours to minutes.<\/li>\n\n<li>At a tax and accounting advisory firm, income tax paperwork arrives by email and gets sorted, the filing is prepared, and a person reviews and approves it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">We use it ourselves first<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before offering it to anyone, we use it in-house.
